Capt. Doc’s Guide Service is headed by Capt. Troy Beasley, a third generation saltwater sportsman fishing the Galveston Bay complex since a young man. Capt. Troy is USCG and TPWD licensed, insured and committed to your safety. Capt. Troy is a Registered Nurse having worked in some of the busiest hospitals in the Houston area. He is also a certified Paramedic and Firefighter. Your safety is our number one priority!
We fish the Galveston Bay complex out of a 21 foot Nautic Star 2110 Sport with a 150hp Yamaha outboard. Our boat is perfect for chasing fish from the middle of the bay to the tip of the jetty and all the flats in between.

Capt. Doc’s
Capt. Doc’s Guide Service is headed by Capt. Troy Beasley, a third generation saltwater sportsman fishing the Galveston Bay complex since a young man. We’re honored to be named after Capt. Troy’s grandfather, CE “Doc” Beasley. Doc was a WWII US Navy Coxswain who served in the Navy’s Armed Guard protecting merchant ships as they resupplied the war battle in the south pacific. Doc shared, and passed on his love of the ocean and its beauty to Capt. Troy throughout his life. Doc also served many decades as a volunteer firefighter and was well know as Capt. Doc of Company 22.
